Warranty & Returns
Our Warranty
We warrant to You that your RAXAR Product is free from defects for the Warranty Period (2 years). The following notice is provided for the purposes of regulation 90 of the Competition and Consumer Regulations 2010 and applies only to the extent that the products supplied are subject to the applicable guarantees and rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010):
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Making a Claim
In order to make a claim against this Warranty, we kindly ask that you contact the RAXAR authorised dealer from which you purchased the RAXAR product (or if directed by an authorised RAXAR representative – to your nearest RAXAR authorised dealer). You must provide proof of purchase and advise the nature of the issue.
The Customer is liable for all freight and delivery charges incurred in returning the goods to the store of purchase or the nearest RAXAR dealer.
RAXAR is not obliged to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
Major Problems
You can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:

- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it;
- is unsafe;
- is significantly different from the sample or description;
- doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed within a reasonable time
Minor Problems
If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement.
Exclusions
Our Warranty does not cover:
(a) fair wear and tear;
(b) installation of the RAXAR product other than in accordance with;
- the Fitting Instructions or Product Information, or
- any applicable specifications of the manufacturer of the relevant vehicle;
(c) installation of the RAXAR product other than in accordance with the Australian Design Rules and all other applicable laws and standards;
(d) improper use, such as (among other things) using the RAXAR product:- other than for the purpose for which it is intended to be used, including but not limited to:
- – use for formal or informal competitive events, such as racing, rallying, hill climbing, speed trials or similar activities; or
- – use in underground mining or other highly corrosive environments.
- other than in accordance with the Fitting Instructions, Product Information or any applicable laws and standards;
- in an unusual or negligent manner, including but not limited to circumstances that result in unacceptable load on the Product or the vehicle or its component parts;
- with improper modifications or alterations; or
- in a neglectful manner.
(e) misuse or neglect of the RAXAR Product, including improper repair or maintenance or failing to repair and maintain;
(f) acts of God, terrorism, vandalism, collision, road hazards or other adverse conditions.
Consumer Guarantees
Our This Warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law, including under any applicable statutory consumer guarantees.
To lodge a warranty claim for any of the above reasons, please follow the procedure outlined above.
